Safety, parks, schools, green space, and neighbourhood character are why people moved here. Growth has to protect them, not overwrite them.
Ward 7 is growing fast. The question is whether new development keeps the promise families already made when they chose Oakville.
I'm not against growth. I'm for growing right.
What I’ll do
If elected, I will push Council to require a real infrastructure plan before saying yes to major development, not simply approve growth and hope the infrastructure catches up later.
I'll take that same fight to the Region, because many of the decisions that shape our roads, healthcare, schools, and other critical infrastructure are made at the regional level.
