Traffic is the issue residents feel on Dundas, Burnhamthorpe, Neyagawa, Trafalgar, Sixth Line, Eighth Line, and William Halton Parkway.
We need to build capacity ahead of growth: synchronized lights, better intersections, missing road connections, transit priority where it belongs, cycling links, and safe crossings.
Traffic should be measured after developments are occupied, not only in pre-construction projections.
What I’ll do
If elected, I will push Council to require a real infrastructure plan before saying yes to major development, not simply approve growth and hope the infrastructure catches up later.
I'll take that same fight to the Region, because many of the decisions that shape our roads, healthcare, schools, and other critical infrastructure are made at the regional level.
