Hospital services, paramedics, public health, mental health, and seniors' services need to expand at the same speed as the population.
Growth must never mean more time waiting in the ER.
Many of the decisions that shape healthcare are made at the regional level. Ward 7 needs a strong voice there, not only at Town Hall.
What I’ll do
If elected, I will push Council to require a real infrastructure plan before saying yes to major development, not simply approve growth and hope the infrastructure catches up later.
I'll take that same fight to the Region, because many of the decisions that shape our roads, healthcare, schools, and other critical infrastructure are made at the regional level.
